Further work on foundations is now complete. 75mm rock and deco together with a 150 mm layer of road base scalps compacted on top give a flat serviceable surface ready for weed mat. All four pads have a fall of approximately 200mm for good drainage.

Using a Leica Disto D2 laser for accurate measurements inside the block walls, I calculated we have 377 sq. meters of usable space for paths and plants.

Next step will be support posts measured, cut and secured over steel spigots concreted into the block work. About 50 spigots surround the perimeter with a few more to be concreted internally to support the roof.
